Have just recently purchased a home with Lennox Elite Series

Have just recently purchased a home with Lennox Elite Series Thermostat (Model (P)X 4147) which I believe Lennox refers to as "Comfort Series 5000". The thermostat functions perfectly manually but where the Schedule Button and Hold Button should appear those spaces are blank and do not respond to touch in the empty fields (I was hoping they'd respond even if the text wasn't visible).
The result is that I'm unable to schedule the device and must rely on manual control. Any ideas?. Thanks.

Lets look in the setup menu and see if schedule is turned off.

See pages 25 to 27 in this manual.

Once in setup menu select 4 for Function 0160
