Customer Question

I have Rheem rpnl-042jaz heat pump. Changed fan motor and contactor. Now when I turn circuit breaker in, fan goes on, compressor is off, air handler is on, both lights on the control board off.
Thermostat gets power.
When I test the contactor manually, the compressor goes on.
I reviewed connections with a picture I took before and using factory diagram. Same issue
Do I have a problem with the control board?

Is led 1 and Led 2 either one on?

Customer: replied 4 months ago.
Both off since we started

Compressor does go on when I press contactor manually
Expert:  airheatman replied 4 months ago.

1. If both leds are off that indicates that we have no power to unit

Expert:  airheatman replied 4 months ago.

If compressor will come on when pressing contactor and fan is coming on we know we have power to board so board is going to be bad if no lights are on

Customer: replied 4 months ago.
I know, it was the issue from the beginning
Expert:  airheatman replied 4 months ago.

OK you will need to replace the board.

Do you want to by pass the board temporarily to have ac until you can get a board?

Customer: replied 4 months ago.
No I guess I need a contractor to stop by
Expert:  airheatman replied 4 months ago.

I understand. If we have power to board but leds are off, we definitely have a bad board.
