hello, I am replacing my nordyne hot surface ignitor (again) I've only helped in the past but doing it myself this time. The directions say to place the ignitor should be in line with the right edge of the left burner and located 1/8 of an inch from the burner? this is a nordyne mobile home furnace. The burner is the honeycomb tube that attatches to the gas? where on this burner would I place the ignitor?

That is correct.The gas (flame)is going to come out the venture and reflect off of that plate.
