I have an American standard air handler where the fan came

Customer Question

I have an American standard air handler where the fan came on for a few seconds , then off, then back on and off.
JA: Did you double-check the thermostat's settings? And what about the filters?
Customer: the thermostat was in the off setting. I have Nest themostats, so I swapped the core piece and the issue did not change.
JA: Do you plan on doing the work yourself?
Customer: I suspect not, but I was looking to see if I could narrow down the issue. The fan works andair flow occurs. I opened the unit and the air flow board had the DS1 light blinking
JA: Anything else we should know to help you best?
Customer: I even changef the backplate of thethemostat and differnet / new unit - no change

Hello, I am looking your question over.

Meantime I need the approximate age, and exact model number of the air handler.

We can go from there.
