What is the model on the unit you are controlling?

Customer: replied 2 months ago.
The outdoor unit is a 38 BNB 018-3. The indoor unit is 40 BNB 018-3. The only control on the wall unit is a micro switch. With 220 v to the wall unit I can turn on the fan on that wall unit. I just can't get the remote to function and control the wall unit. The compressor unit is pretty straight forward. Two control wired from the wall unit 24 volts to pull the relay in to power the compressor up on 220 volts.

I have that info. The problem on my end is the wall unit doesn't have any of the controls u have mentioned or that is noted in the document. The only thing on the wall unit in a push button micro switch. Even the schematic doesn't illustrate any of the switches u mention.

Could u tell me the part number for the remote from carrier. I think they sent me the wrong one. There are no dip switches on the one I have. This could be the root of the problem. Appreciate ur help.
