Good evening. I have a trance xe 1200 unit I replace the capacitor and I don't have power what am I missing
JA: Did you double-check the thermostat? And what about the unit's filters?
Customer: The thermostat is on the filters are a little dirty but can that be the problem
JA: Do you plan on doing the work yourself?
Customer: Yes I change the capacitor already what about the contractor
JA: Anything else we should know to help you best?
Customer: The fan just stop turning and by googling they said check capacitor for swelling which it is so do I need to call a tech

hi i am dan i can help you with this. first you say you have no power do yo have voltage at the line connections of the contactor? did you check the breaker? and does the contactor pull in when the thermostat is calling for cooling?
