My hunter auto temp II heat pump thermostat 44428 kicks on

Customer Question

My hunter auto temp II heat pump thermostat 44428 kicks on in AC mode, but I do not feel any air coming out the vents, as if the compressor is not turning on?
JA: Did you double-check the thermostat's settings? And what about the filters?
Customer: The filters?
JA: Do you plan on doing the work yourself?
Customer: If it is something simple - I changed the batteriries, but still problem
JA: Anything else we should know to help you best?
Customer: just that I hear the thermostat turn on like always, but no air

Hello, Make sure the disconnect switch next to the outside unit on the wall is ON, and that the breaker marked AC in the house breaker panel is on.

If that doesn't handle the problem, the odds are in the 99% range that you will need an onsite technician to help you. Tell me which direction you are from the center of the nearest town or city and I will get you a short list of the best rated ones.
