well yes. I have an amcor portable a/c unit , the fan blow very well and it's quiet. but it doesn't blow cool air. what can I do?
JA: Did you double-check the thermostat's settings? And what about the filters?
Customer: I have tried different temps, clean the filters but no change
JA: Do you plan on doing the work yourself?
Customer: if I can
JA: Anything else we should know to help you best?
Customer: I have the unit out back, opened it up, inside is clean but I don't see a fitting to use to add freon

Hello, the compressor is not running, either because it has failed internally, or because the control module is bad, 95% chance it is one of those if there is no error code showing. Cost for diagnosis and repair at a local applicance shop will be in the $300 range or higher... that is at least half what a new unit would cost you.

If the unit is over 5 years old thank your lucky stars and go shopping for a new one.
