LG portable air conditioner turns off and flashes "water

Customer Question

LG portable air conditioner turns off and flashes "water Full". I opened the drain plug on the bottom, but no water is coming out.
JA: Has this happened before? And have you tried unplugging your LG and leaving it off for a few hours?
Customer: this just stated happening last few days. No, I haven't tried unplugging for a few hours.
JA: What troubleshooting have you tried?
Customer: just tried to empty the internal drain collection and turn back on.
JA: The electronics expert can solve this for you. Anything else you want him to know before I connect you two?
Customer: no, just that. thanks

Hello, there is a float switch in your unit that tell it it is full of water, it might be stuck upwards, try locating it if not try lifting unit off the floor 2 inches and let drop to unstuck., do this while it's unpluged
