Great.Open the service panel. Locate the control board. Using a jumper wire or needle nose pliers, touch the R terminal and G terminal together and tell me if blower comes on,Then R to Y1 and tell me if compressor comes on

question : when a new central ac does not want to start ? what can it be
Can be a number of things.
1. Thermostat issue
3.Defective control board
4.No power to unit.
