Jeff here,Geo thermal unit cools then stops cooling but still blowing air, turned on went from 85 to 77 then stops cooling!!!
JA: Did you double-check the thermostat's settings? And what about the filters?
Customer: Yup filters changed thermastat set to 72!!!
JA: Do you plan on doing the work yourself?

Hello, try setting the thermostat down to 60F as a *brief test only... if it keeps cooling lower than 77F we know its a thermostat problem... if it still goes off at 77F or so we know that the unit is cycling on one of its safety switches.
