My trane inside unit is running but my outside unit is not.
We took off the service panel and pushed in the button. It tried to start but didn't. Can you help me?

what we are looking for is a switch mounted to a pipe...with 2 wires coming out of it.

On yop of this switch is a rubber covered plunger reset///yours will have 2 yellow/red stripe wires to it..and will be on a copper pipe the thickness of a sharpie or aa battery.

it will be inside the cabinet where the compressor is...but after looking at your delay board I am concerned if it is bad. See HERE

normally I confirm with a voltmeter.

I am just trying everything I can for you without a meter...but the board does look suspect.

depends on age....the switches change appearance every couple years

that is a reverse valve to decide between heat and cool.

the switch we are looking for is fed by 2 wires..one on a larger pipe with 2 yellow and one on skinny pipe with 2 yellow/reds

at the bottom where the pipes come into the unit..follow the skinny pipe
