Customer Question

My AC unit is blowing warm air. The fan is running in my outdoor unit and I cannot tell if the compressor is working. I assume since the fan is running that it's not the capacitor. Or is it possible to have a faulty capacitor that's running the just the fan and not the compressor?

Hello, my name is ***** ***** I look forward to helping you.

It could still be the capacitor. Some units have two capacitors one for the compressor and one for the fan. Others have one capacitor, but it works both.

If you are handy with a multimeter you can test the compressor
