my thermosat is not turning on. Heat pump system with oil furnace
JA: Did you double-check the thermostat's settings? And what about the filters?
Customer: filters clean. electric thrmostat. cant find any fuse that could be the problem. no breakers tripped
JA: Do you plan on doing the work yourself?
Customer: if possible

Remove bottom panel of furnace and look for a control board and see if there is a fuse .If so check to see if fuse is blown.
