I tried to turn on my Honeywell thermostat to A/C Auto and the fan would not turn on, no matter how low I turn the degrees down. When I switch to On instead of Auto the fan kick on and the A/C works.

I'm not sure. Just replaced the batteries. Same result.

Normally when calling for AC the Y and G terminals both make sending voltage to both outdoor unit and indoor fan at same time.If thermostat is not doing so, the issue is in the thermostat.See below, If thermostat used to bring on fan in auto mode as it is currently wired and setup, it will need to be replaced.
