Customer Question

A/C condender unit runs for several minutes and then stops...the contactor opens, there is no 24 volts to the contactor. The blower motor on the inside unit still runs. If I close the conactor manually the fan and the compressor start up and run.

When Your t-stat call for cooling, it starts the indoor blower on hi it is normal for indoor blower to run.

BUT depending on your system it may cut off 24volts to AC/ outdoor unit. you may have a float switch under your indoor unit that cuts out power to the outside unit.

Check that out..
