Customer Question

I have a 5 yr old 4 ton 13 seer FS4BD-048KA unit that "works" (keeps things cool, turns on and off in a timely manner, etc).
BUT, it has started to make an incredibly NOISY screeching/ groaning type noise that is not constant, but probably screeches 75% of the time the unit is running.
My heating & ac company (mainly a fuel oil company) has techs that have no idea what it is.......I feel like my neighbors must be ready to "shoot it" given the racket it's causing.
Can you please help?!
