Customer Question

I have a Trane XR90 (installed in 2005) and I am trying to clean the indoor evaporator coils. I have the service panel off but can't remove the triangle plate to clean the inside of the coils. I removed 6 screws on the triangle plate but their appears two screws that are attached from the inside....I can see the threads sticking out near the bottom. How do I get inside to clean the coils with foam coil cleaner?

Accessing the coil can be a bit difficult. You may have to pump down refrigerant. cut coil out and take it out to clean it. What is model on coil ?

Customer: replied 9 months ago.
I don't know coil model. Does the triangle plate come out?
Expert:  airheatman replied 9 months ago.

THat is why I need model on coil to verify. Most do.There should be a label on the triangle or front panel
