I don't have a bolt meter but I think I can find the model #
Customer: replied 11 months ago.
Volt not bolt.
Customer: replied 11 months ago.
Indoor unit is a White Rodgers IF89-211
Customer: replied 11 months ago.
Is the thermostat my "indoor unit" or is there another place to look?
Expert:  Gaztech replied 11 months ago.
T-stat is a t-stat, what blows air in your house is the indoor unit...Did you check your batteries in your t-stat
Customer: replied 11 months ago.
hello?
Customer: replied 11 months ago.
It has always worked and there are no batteries in the t-stat
Customer: replied 11 months ago.
I see a place for batteries but there are no batteries in there.
Expert:  Gaztech replied 11 months ago.
Put new batteries please
Customer: replied 11 months ago.
Ok - now the display is on. But there is no air conditioning coming out of the vents.
Expert:  Gaztech replied 11 months ago.
Now you know t-stat works but before you put batteries in, it was the furnace that was powering t-stat so that means you have a problem with the indoor unit.
Customer: replied 11 months ago.
ok - now what?
Expert:  Gaztech replied 11 months ago.

Hi, I'm Tim and I'm an HVAC expert here to assist you with your questions. Please provide all information I request as it makes it more difficult to troubleshoot something when I'm not there onsite. Essentially, you become my eyes and ears. Thanks for the opportunity to help. At the end of our dialog, you will have a chance to rate my service, but please wait until we are finished and you're satisfied you have all the information you need. Please be patient as many times we work with several customers at once. The fact that thermostat display is blank means your furnace (or air handler) is not supplying power to stat. Check to see if blower door switch is on tight? Furnace switch ON?
Expert:  Tim H. replied 11 months ago.
Did you get a chance to check these things?
