I am running into a repeated problem with a York Model D7cg060n09906a

Customer Question

I am running into a repeated problem with a York Model D7cg060n09906a unit that spark, but not ignite the heater. The blower, and the air conditioner work fine. Have cleaned the leads on the sparker, and can smell gas coming out, but no ignition. Help?

Are you getting any spark at the igniter when it clicks?

yes

Great. Next do you get 24 volts to the gas valve and do you hear the valve click to open?

Don't know how to measure this, but I can smell gas

Ok if you can smell gas, valve is opening. Next step is to clean burners and pilot orfices if you have not already done so.If valve is opening we should get ignition if gas can get to igniter.http://i.imgur.com/ZTXd6DA.png
