Customer Question

My R7284 is on hard lockout, tried resetting but it goes right back to that message
JA: Thanks. Can you give me any more details about your issue?
Customer: I hit the reset as instructed for a couple of seconds but I see from posts holding it for at least 10 seconds is what I should be doing??
JA: OK got it. Last thing — HVAC Technicians generally expect a deposit of about $18 to help with your type of question (you only pay if satisfied). Now I'm going to take you to a page to place a secure deposit with JustAnswer. Don't worry, this chat is saved. After that, we will finish helping you.

what needs to be done with that type of message?
Expert:  Daniel Plourde replied 6 months ago.
Hi i am dan. I can help you with this. If it still locks out after resetting then there is a problem and it needs to be addressed before resetting again. Do you hear or see the flame come on after resetting?
Customer: replied 6 months ago.
I see a flame and cleaned the lense and that solved the issue with it not running after start up.
