Customer Question

Tempstar 18k btu split type ac was working fine days ago and its not working now... Didnt use it for about 3 to 4 days and noticed today that a green light (operation) is flashing fast. Does not pause or anything just blinks and try to turn it on and feedbacks but does not blow or even move the swinging ducts
JA: Thanks. Can you give me any more details about your issue?
Customer: I got to the roof and opened the condenser and pushed the contactor and started the compresor but let it go quick( Just if it helps)
JA: OK got it. Last thing — HVAC Technicians generally expect a deposit of about $18 to help with your type of question (you only pay if satisfied). When I say it feedbacks I mean the "beep" sound when I push the remote
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
I turned of the power to see if it restarted and still the same.

well Tempstar is one of the many lbaels made by ICP...Heil Tempstar etc...

Here is a manual for ICP minisplits with codes for self diag on 23 and flow chart towards end.

The number supplied does not register so this is the best I can do at the moment.

To check the fan motor on the indoor can I jump wires?
Expert:  BillyHvac replied 1 year ago.

yes it can be done, but I am in a position to not recommend. This is mainly because everyone has a different comfort and skill level...And I do not want to be responsible for any damage..

But it can be done...

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Well in the manual says to test every load and I personaly think that its the indoor fan motor cuz I noticed that to be a 18k btu blowed a little to low ( I live here for about month and a half) the acs where installed
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
I think I found the wires that connect to the motor (4) black, red, yellow, white)
Expert:  BillyHvac replied 1 year ago.

did the codes or flow chart in the icp manual help at all?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
the flow chart tells me that if It makes the sound when i push the remote (beep) to check the loads
