I have a robert shaw thermostat and screen went blank. I checked breaker, thermostat has no batteries, and I have found where fuse is and changed it. Still blank. What should I do?

can you tell if the the furnace has power? any hum, any lights?

Only when I push the black switch. Then lights come on and it hums.

Is alight blinking or solid?

we can narrow down quickly now...At thermostat...remove top section...locate wire on R and wire on W...connect them together wirh a u shaped wire, paperclip etc..or remove and twist together...tell me if furnace starts

I see white, blue, yellow, green, red, and black.

Take the red wire and green wire and connect and tell me if furnace blower kicks on

No. It worked this afternoon and when my wife turn on the furnace the sreen went blank. I've checked everything.

Have you checked the wire from the time it leaves R in the furnace to the thermostat?
