Customer Question

I have a St Croix pellett stove. Every time I light the fire, the control panel makes a clicking sound and it won't drop pellets. Eventually the fire goes out, but the clicking continues. Can you tell me what's wrong with it?

if the clicking is a set rhythm then it is likely the auger coupling to motor is worn or loose. The motor turns but the auger does not.

This can also be caused by the auger jamming at end bearing.

To will need to remove the auger from the motor and check union.
