My comfort link II thermostat has been flashing error 126 2

Customer Question

My comfort link II thermostat has been flashing error 126 for about 2 weeks now. The error has come up before a couple of times, but has always gone away after a few minutes. This time since it didn't go away, I tried shutting off both inside & outside unit. The error was still there after powering both units back up. The heater continues to work fine, but the error is still there. Any suggestions, ***** *****
JA: Thanks. Can you give me any more details about your issue?
Customer: The unit seems to work fine but the error never goes wawy

Do you by chance have a box from Power company beside outdoor unit that turns power of at programmed times?
