I just installed basic honeywell thermostats in three zones

Customer Question

hi, I just installed basic honeywell thermostats in three zones and now they don't work. i have water baseboard radiators. in two zones the heat won't come on, one it won't shut off.
JA: Thanks. Can you give me any more details about your issue?
Customer: The old thermostats had R and Y connections, the new ones have W and R. Attached R to R and Y to W. I have adjusted the anticipator to .8 as per the instructions. The thermostat is Honeywell CT50.
JA: OK got it. Last thing — HVAC Technicians generally expect a deposit of about $18 to help with your type of question (you only pay if satisfied). Now I'm going to take you to a page to place a secure deposit with JustAnswer. Don't worry, this chat is saved. After that, we will finish helping you.
