Hello, I have a patio heater about one year old. When I light it, I get the pilot light, but when I release the knob the flame goes out. How do I fix this..

You need to hold the pilot button long enough. At least 30 seconds to heat the Thermocouple and it will stay on when you release the button. If it does not stay lit after that you have a bad thermocouple.
