1. Can you provide model on air handler?

2. What were you troubleshooting?

3. Were you working around fan wires?

Model TAM7A0C60H51SAA
I was troubleshooting the system not keeping up the temp, house temp was 64 and stat set for 68
I had to open the air handler door which turned off the power to the unit. I didn't work with fan wires
Expert:  airheatman replied 10 months ago.

Ok the unit is going to have what is known as a variable speed ecm motor. Will fan work in any thermostat position (Heat, Cool or FAN ON)?

Customer: replied 10 months ago.
Let me try
Expert:  airheatman replied 10 months ago.

Then check to make sure no wires may have gotten disconnected

Expert:  airheatman replied 10 months ago.

Also make sure the panel is pushing the door safety switch in

Customer: replied 10 months ago.
NO, none makes the fan run
Expert:  airheatman replied 10 months ago.

Check that door switch good and make sure panel is holding it in

Customer: replied 10 months ago.
everything looks tight and connected

Yes I am here. Did you check the door switch?

Customer: replied 10 months ago.
Expert:  airheatman replied 10 months ago.

Hmm. Was fan working ok before you went inside and did you do anything in there that could have caused a short in board? Motor is controlled through the bell on end of motor through control board. If both connectors are plugged in at both motor and board, something has happened either to the board or to the bell control on motor.

Customer: replied 10 months ago.
It was working fine before, I checked the board on the side of the unit and then closed the doors, then the fan didn't come again
Expert:  airheatman replied 10 months ago.

Not sure what else this could be.I will open to see if other experts may have ideas.

Customer: replied 10 months ago.
Is there a relay, fuse, etc. in the circuit that could have failed?
