Hello my name is ***** ***** I'm a technician working on a 31/2 ton nordyne package unit but I'm having trouble figuring out why I'm getting a high pressure code from system and the heat pump want run more than 30 seconds. I check pressures switch and it was fine I removed refrigerant pulled vacuum and recharged unit just in case of contaminates and I'm still having same issue. Also I checkled reversing valve and it seems fine

I suspect the metering device on the evaporator coil

Looking at diagram it just says "flow control". If no txv ,recover refrigerant and remove and clean piston

The only thing that is different in cool mode and heat mode is the metering devices.
