Customer Question

I have a carrier oil furnace OBM112 or OVM112. I believe it is variable speed. It is hooked up to existing duct work that was set up for a previous (probably smaller) furnace and seems noisy. There is one supply duct of 8 x 12, and a second duct of 8 x 14, that splits into an 8 x 14 and an 8 x 10. Is this sufficient? It seems very noisy when it kicks into maximal speed.
Thanks, John

John those ducts should be sufficient. The 14 x 8 should handle about 850 cfms and the 12 x 8 should handle about 750 cfms.
