Just installed a window a/c unit that requires the 220 volt.

Customer Question

Hello,
Just installed a window a/c unit that requires the 220 volt. Everything is in order, but I can't get it to turn on even with the remote. When I plug it in it does beep, but that's all.
Do you have any advice so I don't have to uninstall?
Thanks *****

  1. Check cord is plugged in all the way
  2. Check the voltage where the unit plugs in .shiuld be at least 220.
  3. Try operating the unit without the remote.
  4. Check the batteries in the remote.
