I have a oil fired Hot air furnace.I have side of house air exhaust instead of a chimney. It has a power ventilator.. the house was moved into in 1998. How long should I expect the furnace and power ventilator to last ? ****** ********.

The furnace will generally last for at least 20 years (most have a heat exchanger warranty for that long) often 25 or 30 years. The power venter components could start to fail any time since the are 17 years old but most will last as long as the furnace.
