I have an American Standard Furnace. Furnace was built in

Customer Question

Hello, I have an American Standard Furnace. Furnace was built in 2011. When furnace is first turned on it will operate correctly until thermostat shuts it down. After that exhaust blower turns on, igniter lights up, gas clicks on and burns for 15 seconds and flame shuts down. This will repeat itself from then on over and over.

Hello

Lets do a few tests. after the furnace goes off on its normal cycle, set it down to 60F and tell me if this brief 15 second cycle repeats or not.

It repeats, it is a printed circuit board problem most likely (90% chance)

If it does not repeat, then it is a thermostat issue that we can work on next if needed.
