Can you verify the model on the unit? Most Goodman units start with a G. There will be a label inside furnace above burner son side panel if this is a gas furnace.

Expert:  airheatman replied 1 year ago.

If it is a pacakged unit, label will be on outside.

May be hard for me to find a manual, but lets se what we can do.Is it a gas furnace, a unit heater, packed unit or what? Are you able to attach a photo?

Can that 8 be a B PGB is a good number for a gas packaged unit.

Expert:  airheatman replied 1 year ago.

If the unit is a PGB042, the unit does not have a pilot, but instead uses an electronic ignition to light burners, If burners are not lighting, locate the control board and it should have a flashing light to indicate what is failing. Count the number of flashes and let me know how many flashes between pausing. That will tell us where to start troubleshooting.
