Customer Question

I just purchased a Trane XL824 Thermostat.
My current thermostat has the following wiring connected -
RH with a jumper to RC
and yellow
There is a Blue wire that is not connected and was tucked in the wire opening.
I tried to hook up the XL824 with the W,RH, G and Y and nothing happened (blank screen).
I tried to add the Blue to the B/C terminal and still nothing.
Any suggestions? Your help is appreciated.

1. Do you have gas heat? If so remove top panel and give me model from label inside furnace above burners on side panel.

2. Give me model on old thermostat

3. Tell me what terminal each color wire went to on old thermostat.
