We just purchased a Honeywell Pro 1000 thermostat, numbers

Customer Question

We just purchased a Honeywell Pro 1000 thermostat, numbers on the box are THT02991, TH1110DH1003. Don't know which is model number. We seem to be having trouble with the air. We have it on auto and when we turn the temp to (ex.) 73 how do we set that temp? And when it does go on, it stays on until we turn the temp higher. It does not go off automatically. Can you tell me why?

Are you saying that it just keeps getting colder and colder in the house. (lower than what you set it to), or that it runs and runs but never reaches the temp you set to?
