Hello, this is can be a blower issue, can you go to the furnace and see if the blower is humming when set to FAN ON?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
I hear nothing when the thermostat is switched to "fan on".

OK can you open up the panel on the furnace and see if the motor is warm to the touch?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
this is an ac unit, central air,, not a furnace.

Yes I am talking about the blower in the airhandler

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
it is in an attic/crawl space area. I can not immediately get to it.
Expert:  HVAC Guru replied 1 year ago.

OK I need you to get to that with the FAN ON and see if you hear humming from the blower motor, further open the panel then and see if the blower motor is hot or warm to the touch. If so the blower motor may be bad or the blower capacitor may be bad. Check it out and let me know.

Ok no problem at all, it may just be a bad blower capacitor as to what you have stated thus far, which is not a big deal.

Take care and all I ask is please rate my service tonight thanks!
