Hello, ok can you get to the board in the furnace?

I will be at the house around 1 pm est.
Expert:  HVAC Guru replied 1 year ago.

OK when you are there get to the control board in the furnace, check on the board for a slot style fuse, generally it is purple or orange in color. See if you can find it and then pull it out and see if it is burned out.

OK can you enter diagnostic mode.

Press

the diagnostic push button and hold it to cycle through a menu of options. Every five seconds a new menu item will be

displayed.

Release the button when the desired mode is displayed.

When a solid "P" is displayed, the furnace capacity/ size is programmed.

When the solid E" is displayed, the control enters the Error Code Recall mode. Error Code Recall mode menu options: No change

(dis-playingerror history) remains in Error Code Recall mode; solid b" exits Error Code Recall mode; and solid c" clears the error history.

What is in the display

It displays A E 1 2 5.

That is a main board failure. With that error really the only thing that causes it is a bad board. That would explain your issue. I would say time for a new board for sure!
