What is the model on unit. Most 230 volts units can operate fine on voltage up to 28

Hi my name is ***** ***** I'm here to help you out! Do you have the original installation manual? There may be a section in there that talks about max voltage. Generally with hvac equipment there's a +10% on the low and high end of the electrical rating. That being a max of 253v. Is this unit installed and ran- or attempted to run?
