30GTN150-H620FZ chiller units not operating will not respond to attempt to reset or reprograms. Constantly returns to COMM FAIL. Will at times allow entrance to reset to a code 7 or code 8. Contactor will pull in, fan goes on 2-3 seconds and immediately shut down to COMM FAIL. Installed new motherboard with no change. Operates on 120 volt control circuit, cannot get into circuit to return it to default mode

Hello,
This covers a lot of territory including having Carrier send a factory tech to check software. The comm fail must be determined to be mechanical in nature (wire, harness, board)...or a glitch in the software requiring a reload of the program.
This is proprietary and must be performed by Carrier or a trained sub contractor.
