We have a Hydrotherm Hydropulse AM-100 with a bad ignition

Customer Question

We have a Hydrotherm Hydropulse AM-100 with a bad ignition control unit GC-4. A replacement unit was sent and is a GC-4A. We have only one white wire coming out of the upper right terminal post on the old unit but replacement instructions mention 2 white wires which need to be jumpered. Any idea of what to do to get this device operational?

The schematic you provided in the link on the pulseparts website is for the GC-4A controller. On the GC-4 a single white wire went from the upper #4 terminal block to the single NEUTRAL terminal spade in the upper right side of the controller.

Ok first..the white wire can tie into any neutral.
On termial 4..were there 2 other wires?
