Hello,It is the varistor in the end bell that fails most often, it can be replaced for about $10 if you are good with a soldering guy, or you can buy a new end bell for $175 or so... the motors themselves are pretty rugged, not prone to failure. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z4642CZHtaEhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5Q5mm1Nqx9U-------------We are on the honor system here. The manufacturer, in this case Nordyne, burns a program into the eprom and sets the dip switches in accordance with the particular features the particular furnace. That insures them of the parts sales. It is unlikely that an end user has the computer program, furnace control strategy, and connectors necessary to execute the programming himself. If this is in a mobile home contact these people:http://www.magicmobilehomesupply.com/Nordyne_Intertherm_Brand_Parts_and_Accessories_s/1827.htm(###) ###-#### -------------------If its not in a mobile home contact these peoplehttp://www.hvacpartsoutlet.com/Nordyne-Furnace-and-Air-Conditioner-Parts.aspx877-482 2500
