Customer Question

I have a honeywell thermostat that is constantly kicking on the heat when I try to turn the AC on. I manually set the thermostat to "auto" and to "cool" and select my temperature to around 67 and it doesn't kick on to cool unless I turn the On switch and then it will cool only mildly for a short time and then it kicks on the heater right away. And starts to warm the place up.

Is this a new installation or did thermostat used to work properly?

Also can you provide model on indoor and outdoor units that thermostat is controlling?
