i have mcquay split unit model mqis-214012-hwf216a unit does not start a snowflake icon blinks 5 pulses sometimes continueusly or a few times refrigerant pressure is 230ish

If you remove thermostat and twist R and G wire together does the unit start blower?

the unit comes 2 ways....remote or a wall thermostat.
If you have a remote....have you put fresh batteries in?
and the 230psi..that was with unit off?

installed new batteries still not working

I cycled breaker the inside fan runs but outside fan turned slowly and stopped after 30 seconds outside fan stopped completely and I could hear gas hissing which leads me to believe the compressor did engage for a period of time
