Customer Question

I had a new water heater installed last week however the pilot light keeps going out every other day. I've had the installer plumber out several times to check and even call the manufacture and nothing is wrong with water heater. The plumber seems to think I have a draft in basement because he noticed that basement door closes by it's self, like air is sucking it close. How do I keep my pilot light from blowing out?

How far does the chimney stack go before going outside?
