Customer Question

My totaline thermostat has a mind of it's own lately. It does not shut down unless I pull the electric but this time I did get the off to work. But when it runs it doesn't quit

More than likely the thermostat is bad and will need to be replaced. If you want to make sure it is a bad thermostat just get to the wires behind the thermostat. Remove the Red wire from the thermostat when it should be off. If the unit shuts down then the thermostat is bad for sure, if not you may have an issue with the board in the AC/furnace itself causing the unit not to shut off.
