I just purchased a model 5350 heat pump. The unit wiring

Hi
I just purchased a model 5350 heat pump. The unit wiring is Black / Red and ground location. My connecting wires are 230v Black / White with ground wire .
Am I correct to say I should connect Black to Black .... White to Red ... and Ground to Ground ?

Yes most manufacurers use red and black but the wire we buy is white and black, Black goes to Black and White goes to RED
