Russ here. Welcome. I am here to help. Please do not rate until you are satisfied with answer. Always available for follow up questions.Make sure all the ice is off coils before you check and add refrigerant. Most Carrier Gas package or heat pumps use an orifice on the coil. Check the header feeding the coil. Each distribution tube will have a orifice. After you defrost and check charge. Let me know pressure. If the coil is restricted only thing to do is replace coil.
