Welcome!

You will find generally that only slight reductions are possible, particularly at a reasonable cost

http://www.soundproofing.org/infopages/air_conditioner_soundproofing.htm

Some manufacturers make a form fitting thick sound reducing fiber glass / foam enclosure for the compressor, those will generally not retrofit to most compressors though.

That is an article on the topic. Please do not consider this to be an acceptable answer, it is just my attempt to let you know what the situation is.

Hey Phil. Thanks but how about in the case of my AC?

Should I post a pic or video of it when it's on?

Expert:  Phil replied 1 year ago.

Hello again,

http://screencast.com/t/pn2casgAdv

If you can post several pictures of the AC unit showing how far it is from the house, and how far it is from your property line I will be able to tell if there is room for a sound wall or not.

I need to see how far it is from any windows as well.

I need to know if it has always been this loud or has it gotten a lot noisier lately.

A sound video would be good too.

We can go from there.

Hi Phil. Here are the photos. One of the window and one of the AC. I actually found it on the streets.Someone threw it away. But I guess it was not this noisy before

Hello again, I do not think there is anything you can do about something like that, from here I can't see anything that can be done, If you can get it running and it cools, count yourself lucky. I would not spend any money a service person.

.I will opt out, we can see if anyone else here has a better idea.

Good luck with it.
