Hello I am Keith , allow me 5 mins to pull up data please.
fan switch # XXXXX http://www.mobilehomerepair.com/ColemanGas.html
I already replaced the fan switch.
This is not a limt, its the delay
was it this
let me see if I can get a pic
The motor could be doing this if its getting hot?
The website you sent me has a whole page of parts on it
yes it sells them
So you are saying replace the delay?
the temperature delay or time delay
i think temp
Some had fan delay limits with time on temp off
I will check
Temp delay? What does it look like and where is it located?
It will be round I believe
REPLACES COLEMAN FAN SWITCH 7975-3281: ... Insertion Fan Switch: F110-20F. Used in Coleman, Evcon ... 7710-856 4066A701 8655C756 DGAT070BDC 7975-856 …
This fan control is the direct replacement for many Coleman andColeman/Evcon manufactured housing furnaces. These switches start the …
This controls the fan in heat mode
Do you have AC
No AC just heater?
You may want to have the heat exchanger inspected if this was replaced and did this again
There are cases of this, do you have the fan switch for auto or on for your thermostat
Does your thermostat have a fan on position
I have a on off switch on therastat
Sorry my computer glitched
Forthe unit, not fan correct?
I wanted to see if fan on worked
yes turns the stat off only
if you had this option
I am a bit worried aboout the exchanger
Do you have a Co detector in the home?
I dont see that part on unit only the limit switch
Co detector does not go off!
I will see if I casn find a pic
Oh good you have one! exlnt
I am looking for a better pic of unit
I only see the limit switch in the fan housing
the fan wires go to it
looking for pic
How would I find that out?
The two recalls --attempt to beef up the inner walls and the replacement heat exchangers on the DGAA090 now require another part addition . The point is the heat exchanger design is weak and YORK denies any problems. Every furnace over 5 years of use in a northern zone should be inspected for heat cracks in the exchanger after every season .
coleman or york
I am reading diffent cersions of your furnace exist
different versions , i type badly
Ok I found too more switches in the exchange area.
Safety Bulletin and it states models coleman,Coleman Evcon Red T model numbers DGAT070XXXAND DGAT075 NATURAL AND PROPANE have safety recalls . These were manufactured 1997-1998-1999 .
Mine is a Coleman Evcon DGAT070BDC So no recall?
I am unsure
It says some weak designs are suspect but not recalled?
And inspect annually
if you have a co detector its unlikly cracked
So if I replace those 2 switches and it still does the same it will be the exchanger?
That fan delay should normally fix the issue
I have not found a good pic yet of unit
Why does it only happen the second cycle? If it that delay it should do it on the first cycle too right?
It is a bi metal and expands and contracts and they will do this
oh I see
its just 2 dissimilar metals with differing expansion rates so twists
should I replace both?
and cycling over time gets them weak, but this is not normal to switch them often did you swap this out before?
The parts are relatively inexpensive and its like a headlight on a 5 r old car
the rest are right behind it
no just replaced the fan limit switch
I have replaced one light if not flush with cash but better to replace things so the same age
Yes delay is the control
on at 110F
At least this is an easy fix
They make time delays that avoid this issue
one has a yellow sticker and one is blue
not as inexpensive
Humm not sure what that is
I can see
do you want the numbers that are on them?
yellow is 7970-328 blue is 7975-328
Im looking its hard to seeee both numers i have i am stil looking
So one is a upper and one is a lower switch
this is where I found the pics
That is the yellow one!
did you find the blue one?
the other is there too I think
weird i dont see that one listed here
My unit is 57,000 BTU
If that one goes bad it will turn off the gas right? Then the unit will not fire up.
I dont see it but would ereplace it
is it the correct#
let me check
Our network of back-up suppliers help keep out-of-stocks to a minimum.
blue is 7970-328
This is all I see
I would bet one is newer
obsolete my guess
likely replaced with this one
I noticed on my yellow switch it has a double wire connector on one side

So they just anded a 1 at the end of the number?
accidentally sent extra one
7970-328 7975-328 yep
It looks like you could use a slightly different temp setting
theyv are 10 degrees apart
Is there wires on both
what do I do about the double wire connection on the switch?
yes 2 wires on one side
I would replace as is
is there a reason why not?
but the new switch only has one connection on both sides? the yellow one
Oh do you mean a Y added on?
Thhey make commectors to add a y
is this added on
slides over terminal
The switch is like a drawbridge
it just closes and opens
oh it comes off I just thought the switch was made with two connections
if you need a Y it must been added?
You are doing really good here!
Not everyone can do this
You must have experience?
no just cant afford to have someone do it for me...lol. I try and tackle repais myself
I used to get in trouble for fixing units too cheap lol
I never won the parts sales but won least call backs
Contractors want $300 per call min
thats funny but honest in my book!
The markup is wild
R22 freon is $300 for 30 lbs sells $75 lb
I know...thats why I am picking your brain...lol
I cant do it
I really love my job'
yea that freon is way out of control
Yes llike heroin lol
I donrt know lol
this is a good way to make extra money for you techs!
Hope they give you a good cut!
I actually had a pennysaver ad for 349 get me zero work 1 month
Wow! Do you do good on here?
what state are you in?
Well I would if everyone paid, but as its satisfaction guarenteed some are not wanting to pay
Im in CA too bay area!
And some ratepoorly and dont pay ouch!@
Sac has it pretty bad now
I will rate you good and pay...:):):)
Tank you so much!!
